Getting started is the hardest thing to do when first attempting to understand social network marketing. How can 140 characters on Twitter have any real value? Aren’t Facebook comments boring? Can this really help my business?
I mean, seriously, this can cause real headache producing, anxiety.
The answer to whether or not you should add a social network component to your marketing mix is a resounding “yes!” Social network marketing creates consumer engagement. Consumer engagement creates trust and trust creates loyalty. Nice.
That is why it seems everyone is doing it. It is also why the big guys, sophisticated marketers like Procter & Gamble, have embraced social network marketing. And the really good news it that it doesn’t take a boatload of money.
What it does take is the time and commitment to change the way you approach marketing your business. And the good news? When done right, and this is key, it works.
So, whether you go for it yourself, hire an employee to do it for you or get outside help, do it. You will be pleasantly surprised with the results.
